This Privacy Policy explains how Sage and Santo, LLC, including its Lensa division (“we,” “us”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information. It applies to our websites, client services, emails and other communications. Washington residents should also read our separate [Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy].

Health-related information. Some assessment and coaching information may relate to your physical or mental health or wellbeing. We treat it as sensitive. We collect it only with your consent, use it only to provide the services you asked for, and never sell it or use it for advertising.

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted storage and limited staff access. We keep client information in Proton’s encrypted services and on our own encrypted devices. No system is perfectly secure. Please don’t send sensitive health details by regular email; use Proton Mail encryption instead. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

We aim to respond within 10 business days, and will always respond within one month. If a request is complex, we may need up to two more months; if so, we will tell you why within the first month. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. Residents of some states have more rights, described in the US state notices below.
Reviewer note: your version said “up to 45 days.” EU rules apply at least to clients in the EU, and they require a response within one month, extendable by two further months for complex requests, with notice to the person before the first month ends (Irish Data Protection Commission FAQ). 45 days can exceed one month, so I changed it.
Our Sites and services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Your information is kept in Proton’s encrypted services, hosted in Switzerland, Germany or Norway, and on our own encrypted devices. The International clients section below explains the safeguards we use and the rights you have.
We will post updates here with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify current clients by email before the changes take effect. We will not use previously collected health-related information in a new way without your consent.

Consulting and coaching with Sage and Santo and Lensa is a collaborative, client-directed process. Clients set their own goals, make their own decisions, and are responsible for the choices they make and their results. We do not guarantee any particular outcome.
Questionnaires or assessments used in consulting and coaching are tools for self-reflection, awareness of personal habits, and client-directed goal setting. They are not medical, psychological, or diagnostic evaluations, and coaching is not a substitute for care from a licensed health or mental health professional.
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, medical care, nutrition therapy or any other licensed health service. We do not diagnose, treat or cure any condition, and we do not prescribe or change medications, diets or treatment plans. If you have a health or mental health condition, keep working with your own licensed providers, and check with them before making changes that could affect your health.
If something you share suggests you may need medical or mental health care, we may suggest that you contact a licensed professional. We may pause consulting or coaching until that happens.
Consulting and coaching is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis, call 911 or your local emergency number. In the US you can also call or text 988.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the websites of Sage and Santo, LLC (“Sage and Santo,” “we,” “us”), including www.sageandsanto.com and the websites of our Lensa division LensaHealth.com (together, the “Sites”). Lensa is a division of Sage and Santo, LLC, not a separate company. References to “we” include Lensa.
By using the Sites, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Sites or book services.
Sage and Santo and Lensa provide business, career and wellness consulting and coaching. Coaching and consulting services are provided under a separate written Client Agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the Client Agreement controls for those services.
Content on the Sites and our coaching and consulting services are educational and supportive. They are not medical care, psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis or treatment, and they are not legal, financial or tax advice. Our coaches are not acting as licensed health care or mental health providers. Speak with a qualified professional about any medical, mental health, legal or financial concern.

The Sites and their content, including text, assessments, graphics and the Sage and Santo and Lensa names and logos, belong to Sage and Santo, LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. Using the Sites does not give you any ownership or license except as stated in Section 5.
You keep ownership of the information you send us, including assessment answers and messages. We use it only as described in our Privacy Policy. If you send us general feedback or suggestions about our services, we may use those ideas to improve our services without paying you.
The Sites may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, THE SITES AND THEIR CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT FROM USING THE SITES OR OUR SERVICES.
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, SAGE AND SANTO, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY RELATED TO THE SITES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
You agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs from claims caused by your misuse of the Sites or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, unless your local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will also give notice on the Sites at least 30 days before they take effect. Changes do not apply to disputes that arose before they took effect.
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any Client Agreement are the entire agreement about the Sites.
